Dinton Church of England Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its friendly team and provide one-to-one support to a pupil with additional needs.
Working Hours: Part Time (15 hours, 3-4 days per week, 39 weeks per year including Teacher Training days). Required: ASAP.

The role will require you to provide specific support to a child with complex needs, so experience in behaviour management and SEND is advantageous. Responsibilities include providing general classroom support, meeting the pupil’s emotional and social needs and liaising with other teaching and SENCO staff in the development and delivery of an adaptive curriculum.

- Can be a strong team player as well as use your own initiative;
- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Understands and is sympathetic to the needs of children, including their social and emotional needs;
- Has experience of supporting pupil’s learning;
- Has experience working with children with SEND (advantageous).
